Sallaghy Parish founded in approximately 1840 is located about 3 miles from Lisnaskea on the Crom Road. The site also contains a graveyard and church hall. The rectory is located about a mile away on the Moorlough Road from Lisnaskea to Newtownbutler in the townland of Ballyhullagh. Services are still held in Derryadd three or four times a year.

Foundation Stone

The foundation stone of the new church at Sallaghy was laid by Mrs Selina G Crichton, in company with her husband Lieut Col John Crichton, in the presence of many witnesses on the 13th July 1840, who came from their seat in Crom to honour us on the solemn ceremony, which was performed by the Venerable Archdeacon Russell of the Diocese, concluded by a very interesting and impressive address on the occasion, in presence of me also. Registered and written at Newtownbutler, the day and date above written. John M Graydon, Curate of Galloon
