'''Magheraveely''' is a small village in County Fermanagh. In the 2006 Census it had a population of people 254 with a majority of 67% catholic inhabitants.

In the 1940s Magheraveely consisted of one street.  There was one grocers shop,<!-- Wiggins? --> one hardware shop and a pub owned by the McCabe family.  There was also a saw-mill just outside the village.
 
=== Crozier family ===
Gortra House is situated midway between Magheraveely and Newtownbutler. The Crozier family previously lived at Cloncarn and Springtown Co. Fermanagh.The original House stood to the side of the current Gortra House and in its day was surrounded by gardens and many rodedendrums.
 
==== Family vault ====
In the Graveyard on the edge of the Village is the Burial Vault of The Crozier Family of Gortra House. It was erected by John Crozier of Gortra House born 1765 died 1814 and contains the remains of that family till 1933, with the interment of John George Crozier. The Vault contains many coffins all in perfect state of preservation as at 2001. It is built of Stone and Brick with large steel doors.
